You’ve probably seen those memes where a picture transforms into another thing in a series of four panels. I know I have, but outside of using Photoshop or another image-editing tool, there didn’t seem to be a way online to generate these types of photos. So I wanted to build a small app that did just that.
The Solution
By using the Canvas API, I was able to easily create an app that did just that. While there are some weird aspect-ratio issues with the images that are created, I was glad that I was able to create a working application with zero-server-side code. You can mess around with Fade Pics here.
